TRT Purchasing Workshop
On March 24, TRT held a Purchasing Workshop at Inclusion Factory in Taicang.
Procurement is an important part of company’s business, and it is critical for companies to aware of the skills and pitfalls of signing contracts. In this workshop, we invited Ms. Claudie Zhou, Partner Lawyer of Jiangsu Zhouruichang Law Firm, to share with us the tips and pitfalls of signing procurement contracts. Ms. Zhou briefly described the main components of a procurement contract. Taking a procurement contract as an example, she introduced the conditions of attention when signing a procurement contract. Through case studies, Ms. Zhou explained in detail the concepts of advance payment, shipment payment, acceptance payment and final payment in the contract payment terms; and introduced how to set more favorable payment terms for the purchaser.
In the second half of the seminar, group discussions were set up for buyer's market and seller's market. Purchasers from various enterprises had an interesting and wonderful simulated price war by combining their own working environment and practice, as well as the skills and pitfalls of purchasing signing in the first half of the seminar by Ms. Zhou.
