TRT March GM Meeting
On March 13th, TRT held the General Manager Meeting at the Sino-German Standardization Cooperation Suzhou Innovation Center.
First, Mr. Jiang Mingfeng, a police officer of the Exit & Entry Management Brigade of Taicang Public Security Bureau, was invited to introduce the service and latest developments of the Taicang Service Center for Expatriates (TSCE), which will be opened soon. Taicang has established the TSCE in order to continue to build a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, rule-of-law-oriented and internationalized so that expatriates can live and develop more comfortably in Taicang. It has integrated 73 services, such as immigration affairs, foreign-related government affairs, and life integration, which will be opened in parallel with the TSCE.
Next, the meeting entered the session of TRT's Board election, which was attended by 8 candidates, namely Mr. Yang Xinhua, General Manager of Huber Ranner Environment Equipment (Taicang) Co.; Mr. Yang Gang, President & CEO of TRUMPF (China) Co.; Ms. Jesicar Shen, General Manager of OASE Living-Water (Taicang) Co.; Mr. Joschka Barde, Head of Taicang Office Associate Partner of Rödl & Partner Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Taicang Branch; Ms. Marieke Bossek， General Manager of German Centre for Industry and Trade Taicang Co.; Mr. Wang Song, General Manager of DSAP Certification (Shanghai) Co.; Mr. Richard Zhang, General Manager of Becker Consulting (Taicang) Co.; and Mr. Wilhelm Anton Riester, CTO of Chiron Machine Tools (Taicang) Co. Each of the candidates presented their vision and plans for the 2025-2027 term of office in a short video.
Finally, Ms. Daisy Zhu from the German Chamber of Commerce in China (GCC) gave a brief update, sharing the current developments in cooperation between German companies in China and related support information.
