Summer Camp- CSR Project | 慈善项目-夏令营活动
On 30th May 2019, E.G.O. Components becomes the winner of the “More Than a Market Awards 2019” in the category of “Medium Enterprises (500 -5000 employees). The project “Summer Camp” for left – behind children of migrant workers, which is dedicated to reuniting rural workers and their families who are otherwise separated due to the increase of high mobile labor force.
About the Project
Summer Camp is for migrant workers’ left-behind children
The project is focusing on left-behind children issues in China and provides the opportunity to parents to stay with their children during six weeks in summer.It allows practicing “normal” family life for this time and help also these children’s mental growth. Every day a varied program is planned and prepared for the children with the help of internal and external volunteers.
Implementation
A project team of 6 E.G.O. employees from different departments started in every March with the planning and preparation for the Summer Camp.At least once per week was a team meeting scheduled.
A daily and weekly detailed hourly schedule for all kinds of activities was available - such as dancing, painting, music, pottery, English, swimming, taichi, sports, team building, safety training as well as the city exploration in Shanghai and Taicang.

1. Holidays for picking up the kids fromtheir hometown – depends on how far
2. No overtime arrangement for thoseparticipants in the weekend (optional for employees)
3. Provide the convenience on picking up thekids in the morning and afternoon
4. Accident insurance for kids
5. Diversified lessons, tutorial homework,lots of activities and fun etc.
6. Ensure the safety in the Summer Camp
