On June 10th, TRT held an EHS Workshop titled ‘Analyzing Hidden Danger Investigation & Management from the Perspective of Personnel Psychology’ at Taicang Enterprise Service Centre.
Mr. Huang Ruilong, Senior Manager of Corporate Compliance of Suzhou LvdaAnhengSafety and Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was invited as a guest speaker to discuss how employee mental health affects workplace safety behaviors and how to better deal with safety hazards in the production process through the lens of psychology.
In his presentation, Mr. Huang Ruilong emphasized that over 95% of all daily workplace safety accident statistics are due to unsafe human behavior. This shows that understanding and grasping the psychological state of employees is crucial to improving safety in the workplace. Through several examples, he demonstrates the differences in people's behaviors under different psychological states and how these differences affect the rate of accidents. In addition, he suggested several practical ways to help business management identify and deal with potential psychological risk factors so as to reduce accidents.
The sharing of this EHS seminar reminds companies that while pursuing productivity, paying attention to the mental health of employees should not be neglected as well.
